Jordan River Temple

The Jordan River Utah Temple as dusk falls.  We were driving out of the parking lot after visiting the temple and had to stop to take a picture as the lights came on as dusk fell.  I wasn't expecting to take pictures, so I didn’t have a tripod and had to hope things would turn out fine with a handheld picture.

Wotruba Church Sunset

An incredible sunset over Vienna’s Wotruba Church (Wotrubakirche in German), named for its designer, Fritz Wotruba.  The church, also known as the Church of the Holy Spirit, is an architecturally interesting building consisting of 152 asymmetrically placed concrete blocks.

Spiral Jetty

The well-known piece of installation art in the Great Salt Lake known as Spiral Jetty.  I visited early in the morning and the site was quiet and peaceful as a sunny summer day dawned.  The drive through farmland and then the desolate but beautiful countryside was also well worth it.

Известная ленд-арт-инсталляция в Большом Солёном озере под назвением Спиральная дамба.  Я её посешал рано утром и это место было тихо и мирно пока рассветал солнечный летний день.  Тоже было очень приятно ехать туда через сельскохозяйственный район и затем через пустынную и красивую пустыню.

Church of Sts. Theodore
